About Anahli/Sobre Anahli
Hello there! My name is Anahli Jazhmin Vazquez or you can call me Ani. I am native from Monterrey, Mexico, but raised in Southwest Detroit since the age of 5. In 2015, I graduated from the College for Creative Studies, majoring in Photography with a Concentration in Business Certificate. I am an ophthalmic photographer in the medical field during the weekday while I continue to freelance my photography business during the weekends. Both careers allow me to meet new and familiar faces, whilst always listening to their care and expectations from me. Communication is very important in order for me to capture the best images and essence of a person, allowing me to be creative during my freelance photo shoots with technical skill from my day job. Prior employment allowed me to teach elementary to high school youth the fundamentals of photography and host art related workshops for after school and summer programming. These types of programming were available through non-profit programs Focus: Hope EXCEL Photography Program, the Community Arts Partnerships Department at College for Creative Studies, Clark Park Coalition and Grace In Action Church and Collectives.
